In-Home Supportive Services Application

If you live in Kern County and would like to apply for IHSS (or apply on the behalf of someone else), there are several ways to complete an application.

Complete the online IHSS application.
Call (661) 868-1003 to apply over the phone.
Complete an Application for Social Services (SOC 295) English | Spanish and return it to IHSS by one of the following ways:
1. Online: Secure Document Submission (fast, easy and secure document upload emailed directly to IHSS)
2. Mail: Aging and Adult Services | 5357 Truxtun Ave | Bakersfield, CA | 93309
3. Fax: (661) 430-9066
4. Drop Off: Put in a drop box at the AASD office.
